Connect Your AI Agent 

Standard Titanium’s MCP service lets compatible AI assistants request quotations and check their progress directly from a conversation.

What can your AI agent do?

Once connected, your agent can:

• Submit a quotation request after you approve the details
• Provide your contact information and requirements
• Receive a unique enquiry reference
• Check whether your quotation is still being prepared
• Retrieve the quotation status when you return later

Quotation requests are reviewed and priced by a person. The AI assistant does not calculate or approve prices itself.

MCP server address

Use this Streamable HTTP endpoint:

https://api.titanium.net/mcp

No API key is currently required.

How to connect

The exact steps depend on your AI application, but the general process is:

1. Open your application’s MCP or integrations settings.

2. Choose Add MCP Server or Connect Server.

3. Select Streamable HTTP as the connection type.

4. Enter the server address:

   https://api.titanium.net/mcp

5. Save the connection.

6. Confirm that the two Standard Titanium tools appear.

Your application should discover these tools automatically:

• request_quote — submits a new quotation enquiry
• get_quote_status — checks an existing enquiry

Requesting a quotation

You can ask your assistant something like:

I need a quotation for titanium sheets. Help me prepare the details and ask before submitting the request.

The assistant will need:

• Your full name
• Your email address
• The service or delivery postcode
• The product or service required
• A description of your requirements

Submitting the tool creates a real enquiry. Your assistant should show you the details and obtain your approval before sending them.

Checking your quotation

After submission, you’ll receive an enquiry ID. Keep this reference because it is needed to check the status.

You can then ask:

Check the status of my Titanium quotation using enquiry ID [your enquiry ID].

Possible statuses include:

• Pending pricing — your request is waiting for review
• Information required — more details are needed
• Quoted — your quotation is ready
• Cancelled — the enquiry has been cancelled

Privacy and responsible use

Only submit information that is required for the quotation. Your name, email address, postcode and requirements will be stored so the Standard Titanium team can process your enquiry.

Do not include passwords, payment-card details, authentication codes or other sensitive information in your request.

Having trouble connecting?

Check that:

• Your AI application supports remote MCP servers
• The connection type is Streamable HTTP
• You entered the complete address, including /mcp
• Your network allows HTTPS connections to api.titanium.net
