Application
Titanium anodes are utilized in various industrial and commercial applications due to their excellent corrosion resistance, high electrical conductivity, and longevity. Key applications include electroplating for metal finishing and decorative coatings, electrolytic processes like chlor-alkali production and water treatment, and cathodic protection of marine structures, pipelines, and storage tanks.
They are also used in electrochemical synthesis, wastewater treatment, water electrolysis for hydrogen production, advanced batteries and fuel cells, electrowinning and electrorefining for metal recovery, medical implants, electronic components manufacturing, and aluminum anodizing. Anode Applications
The chlor-alkali process is a group of industrial processes used to produce chlorine, sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), or both. The process involves the electrolysis of a solution of sodium chloride (salt) or potassium chloride (potash) in water.
