ASTM B363
Seamless and Welded Unalloyed Titanium and Titanium Alloy Welding Fittings
ASTM B363 is a standard specification for titanium and titanium alloy fittings. It covers the chemical and mechanical requirements for six grades of titanium and titanium alloy fittings, designated as Grades 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, and 11. The standard also includes requirements for heat treatment, testing, and inspection of the fittings. The fittings covered by this standard include elbows, tees, crosses, reducers, caps, and stub ends, which are made by either wrought or cast methods. The purpose of ASTM B363 is to ensure that titanium and titanium alloy fittings produced by manufacturers meet a set of minimum requirements for their intended use in various industrial applications.
