AMS 4900 is an SAE International Aerospace Material Specification covering commercially pure titanium at approximately the Grade 3 / 55 ksi yield-strength level in annealed sheet, strip and plate.
AMS specifications are product-specific aerospace requirements. The exact AMS number and required revision should be stated rather than using “AMS titanium” as a generic material description.
