AMS 4928 is an SAE International Aerospace Material Specification covering annealed Ti-6Al-4V wrought products including bars, wire, forgings and other product forms defined by the specification.
AMS specifications are product-specific aerospace requirements. The exact AMS number and required revision should be stated rather than using “AMS titanium” as a generic material description.
